ABERDEEN MOSQUE & ISLAMIC CENTRE AWARDED GRANT BY THE BRITISH MUSLIM COVID FUND TO HELP THOSE AFFECTED BY COVID-19.
Aberdeen Mosque & Islamic Centre has been awarded a grant of £1,000 as part of its Zakat program to assist with those most affected Covid-19. Many people in the community in Aberdeen have lost their employment as the city is a transient city with many foreign workers based here due to the oil industry.

PRESS RELEASE – AMIC COVID 19 FUND

Ma’aruf Razzak, Chair of Aberdeen Mosque & Islamic Centre states…

“It is great to see a Muslim organisation distributing essential funds so that those eligible in the community can be assisted at this time. We are a close knit community here and the grant will help us assist those most in need within the city.

We have several projects on going at the moment and this grant will add to programs we are trying to deliver for the community. We look forward to working with the British Muslim Covid-19 Fund in the future.”
